The biggest prize will be knowing that you competed with some great horse enthusiasts and selected the three best Harris horses for the 2001 Del Mar season.

Welcome to the 2001 Del Mar Fantasy Stable entry page. The rules are simple...a. Select three horses from the following list of currently owned or co-owned Harris Farms racehorses. This becomes your "stable" for the 2000 meet. The "stable" with the most accumulated earnings at the end of the meet becomes the 2001 Del Mar Fantasy Stable winner. b. Only one "stable" per e-mail address, with no changes allowed and the first "stable" submitted is the final "stable". c. ALL horses, claimed or not, regardless of what track they run at, will this year be eligible for entrants. d. If one or more of your "stable" horses are campaigned (raced) at racetracks other than Del Mar, while still owned or co-owned by Harris Farms, during the time period of July 18, 2001 through September 5, 2001, these earnings also count towards your "stable" winnings. e. Earned purse money is, as noted in the Daily Racing Form charts for the respective race. f. In case of a tie, the first "stable" entry e-mail received by Harris Farms, Inc. will be declared the winner. g. Del Mar Fantasy Stable Notes

Mary Moscow-- she won a Cal Bred Allowance race at Hollywood Park on July 13th in 134 and change on the turf. Mary will now have to step up to straight allowance horses, but she does seem to be on the improve and did win on the Del Mar turf last year. August 8th update

Top of Our Game- She won an allowance race at Hollywood Park 2 races ago and has been a consistent mare for us this year. She will have to face some tough turf mares in her upcoming race the second week of Del Mar, but is working well and if she can improve just a bit, she can eventually win another stake for us. 

Image of Glory- A multiple stakes winner of about $300,000, she now has to run against some of the best female sprinters around. Her last couple of starts have been disappointing, but we are hoping for a rebound. 

Got the Votes- she has had her share of problems, but trained well for her comeback at the farm and just shipped down to Gaines a few weeks ago. She may be able to run the last part of Del Mar. Likes the turf. 

Road Test- So named because he likes to get lose and run on the road, this 2 year old High Brite is showing genuine promise and we are hoping he gets to the races by the middle or end of the meet.

Easy Change- This gelding is about 2 weeks away from his first start. He has trained well, and we are hoping he'll be a nice 2 year old for us.

Triplane- He won first time out at Hollywood Park, and runs on July 15th against winners. He has ability, and now a question of what level he'll end up at. 

Escape With Me- We have always been high on this daughter of Soviet Problem. She lost all chance at the break in her initial start, and we gave her some time off after that. She is now working well and may run on Monday, July 23rd. August 24th win photos

Cut the Deal- She won first time out last winter at Hollywood Park, then ran 3rd, but developed some problems and has been at the farm for a while. She is working well and ships into Del Mar not too far off from a race. 

Super Tuesday- This filly co-owned with Sheila Williams is a real try hard that is stabled in Northern California. She placed in a couple of stakes there, but shipped down to Hollywood Park to win the Sires Stakes on the turf on July 8th. We may leave her up north as there is a 3 year old filly stakes at Bay Meadows in August, but a Del Mar start is a possibility. She will be a Fantasy Stable eligible horse regardless of where she runs.

Ron Cherry- He has won about $40,000, but is still a maiden. Never seems to run a bad one, but has caught some toughies the last couple of races. His day will come. Co-owned by the Grether family. 

Rebuild Trust- She has had some problems over the years, but has a lot of speed and is tough on the front end routing. She may go a mile on the dirt at Del Mar the end of the second week. Let's hope the dirt track is favoring front runners. 

Social Charm- She ran a so-so third first time out at Hollywood Park and should run somewhere the first few weeks of Del Mar. 

Green Team- This is our leading money earner from our 1999 crop so far. He won a maiden allowance first time out at Bay Meadows at 15 to 1, and came back to run second in a stake at Pleasanton with a very wide trip. We may keep him at the Fairs, or may go in a Cal Bred Stakes, the Graduation, on July 25th. Either way, he is Fantasy eligible.

If the Fantasy Stable participant wishes to be kept abreast of all entries etc., the Daily Racing Form provides this information on a very early basis.
