LUCKY JH TO STAND AT HARRIS FARMS

Lucky JH, (Cee’s Tizzy-Lucky C.H., by A. P. Indy) a graded stakes winner of 8 of 20 starts with earnings of $632,065 has been retired to the place of his birth, his owner/breeder John Harris’s farm in Central California. Now 7, he won every year he raced from 2 through 6, including stakes wins in the Grade 3 Ack Ack Handicap at Hollywood Park, the Tiznow Stakes, the Sensational Star, and the Impressive Luck, his most recent victory on December 29, 2008.

John Harris commented, “I hate to have to stop on him now as he had a big year ahead in 2009, but due to a training injury, we have sent him to the farm to embark on a new stallion career. I am very excited about his future as a stallion. He could run well on any track surface both short and long. His sire Cee’s Tizzy is off to a fabulous start as a sire of sires as Tiznow is doing sensationally, as evidenced by his son, Well Armed’s dazzling 14 length win in the Dubai World Cup. Lucky JH has a fabulous temperament combined with a very striking physical appearance and a wonderful pedigree.

Dave McGlothlin, Horse Division Manager, says “He'll be a nice addition to our stallion roster and brings another solid son of Cee's Tizzy into the breeding shed. It's a difficult year and time of year to start a stallion in the breeding shed so we will be very aggressive in booking mares and will offer free matings to those with pedigrees of interest.”

We plan to breed many of our best mares to him and also have already had several calls from friends and clients wanting to breed to him”

Lucky JH will stand at private treaty with considerations to quality mares in 2009.
