Harris Farms and Harris Farms based stallions are heavily represented in the Gold Rush VIII at Hollywood Park on Sunday April 29, 2007

In the $150,000 Fran’s Valentine Stakes for California-bred fillies and mares at 1 1/16 miles on the Hollywood Park turf course Easy Obsession is by Moscow Ballet, out of the Alysheba mare Alygria. Also entered is the Harris foaled, raised and trained Nashoba’s Key by Silver Hawk, out of the Caerleon mare Nashoba, was bred by Williamson Racing and is owned by Warren Williamson. She has won both of her starts and has earnings of $61,800.

In the $150,000 TVG Khaled Stakes 9 furlongs on the turf, Running Free is by Soft Gold, out of the Mukaddamah mare Baby Grand and was bred by owner Southern Nevada Racing Stable.

In the $200,000 Melair Stakes Tiz Elemental is by Cee’s Tizzy, out of the Great Commotion mare Blending Element, was bred by Williamson Racing and is owned by Warren Williamson. She has two wins in four starts, earnings of $117,680.

In the $250,000 Cal National Snow Chief Stakes for California-bred 3-year-olds at 1 1/8 miles C.T. Zee is by Cee’s Tizzy, out of the Dynaformer mare Zoelu, was bred by Harris Farms and is owned by Harris Farms, Girdner & Jones.

$150,000 Tiznow Stakes (named for the leading money winning Cal-bred raised at Harris Farms) for California-breds at 7 ½ furlongs Grade I winner Greg’s Gold (raised at Harris Farms) is by Lake George (former Harris Farms based stallion), out of the Fit to Fight mare Lake Windermere and was bred by owner Bill Boswell. He has five wins in 15 starts, earnings of $440,068 and is coming off a second in the Apr. 7 Potrero Grande Handicap. He’s the Rage is by Soft Gold, out of the Hansel mare Interaction, was bred by Southern Nevada Racing Stable and is owned by Belmonte or Bongo Racing Stable or Cohen. He has seven wins in 25 starts, earnings of $408,324. Only One Way is by Tinners Way (former Harris Farms based stallion), out of the Skywalker mare Vaderette, was bred by Harris Farms & Sheila Williams and is owned by Gregory Unruh. He has five wins in 11 starts, earnings of $127,314.

Warrens Thoroughbreds Stakes at 7 furlongs for maiden fillies and mares has in it Miss Lola La Dare by High Brite out of Sharper By One, Silver Z by Cee’s Tizzy out of Zoelu (bred by Harris Farms), Team Decision by Huddle Up out of Scare Tactics bred by Harris Farms and owned by Harris Farms, Devine and Wood, Tiz Next by Cee’s Tizzy out of She's Distinctive.
