Harris Farms announces the addition of Lucky Pulpit (Pulpit-Lucky Soph, by Cozzene) to their stallion roster. Owned by Mr. and Mrs. Larry D. Williams, he will stand for $2,500 live foal payable at foaling.

Lucky Pulpit is a stakes winning son of sire of sires, Pulpit (A. P. Indy). He won 2 of his first 3 starts as a 2 year old in Southern California and was multiple graded stakes placed at 3, and a stakes winner of the Smile Stakes at Arlington Park in 2005, retiring with earnings of $209,599. He won on both dirt and turf.

Pulpit, who stands for $80,000, was a stakes winner of $728,200 and has already sired 22 stakes winners including Essence of Dubai (G2 winner at 2), Purge (G1 winner standing for $20,000), Stroll (G1 winner), Sky Mesa (G1 winner at 2 standing for $30,000), Tapit (G1 winner standing for $12,500) etc., all now promising young sires.

His dam, Lucky Soph (Cozzene) is a half sister to Seattle Song. The second dam, multiple graded stakes winner Lucky Spell is the granddam of Unbridled's Song (Sire of over 40 SW)
