Compari Looks to Rebound

Grade II stakes winner Compari is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $150,000 Grade II American Handicap at Hollywood Park.

Compari is by Redattore, out of the Dixieland Band mare Southern Charm, was bred by owners Harris Farms, John Nicoletti and Don Valpredo and is trained by Marty Jones.

He has six wins in eight starts, earnings of $422,640 and is coming off a seventh in the May 31 Shoemaker after a six-race win streak.
