Triple for Harris Farms

Horses bred by Harris Farms won three of the seven thoroughbred races on the Opening Day card at the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton Wednesday.

Tiz Afire, a 9-year-old Cee’s Tizzy gelding out of the Mr. Leader mare Burning Desire, won the second race for owners Begley, Begley, Burke, et al.

With Respect, a 4-year-old filly by Redattore out of the Lear Fan mare With Some Luck, won the fourth race for the breeder/owner.

And Lucky High, a 3-year-old filly by High Brite – and a half sister to With Respect out of the Lear Fan mare With Some Luck – won the sixth race for the breeder/owner.
