TIZBUD TO STAND IN CALIFORNIA AT HARRIS FARMS

COALINGA, Calif. (November 30, 2005)-TIZBUD (Cee’s Tizzy-Cee’s Song, by Seattle Song), a stakes winning full brother to Leading Freshman Sire Tiznow, is on his way to Harris Farms where he will stand as the property of Pam Ziebarth. Pam is the daughter of Cecilia Straub Rubens who campaigned Cee’s Tizzy and Tiznow for Cee’s Stable. Tiznow, Eclipse award winner at three and four, is the only horse to have won the Breeders’ Cup Classic twice. Tiznow has gotten off to a sensational start as a Sire and has been a leading freshman sire most of the year. He is represented by Folklore, winner of this year’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies.

TIZBUD, also a full brother to major graded stakes winners Budroyale and Tizdubai, showed brilliance as a racehorse, breaking his maiden at 1 1/16 miles with a 100 Beyers. He went on to win the California Cup Classic at 4 before retiring with earnings of $230,266. He was trained by John Sadler who commented, “He was a very good racehorse with a great stallion pedigree. He’ll be a great addition to the California stallion ranks. I really like the horse and plan on breeding a mare to him.”

Owner Pam Ziebarth commented “TIZBUD belongs in California, he was bred and raised here and is the winner of the 2003 Cal Cup Classic. With his full brothers Tiznow and Budroyale, numbers 1 and 7 on the California bred all time money earners he will offer the California breeder a very attractive stallion option.”

Harris Farms’ owner, John Harris stated, “We are delighted to get this stallion back to our farm, where he was raised. He showed great promise as a racehorse and is from a proven sire line. He has an excellent disposition, is a good looking horse, and I plan to breed some of my best mares to him,”

TIZBUD will stand for a fee of $3,000 payable when mare foals for the 2006 season.
